n April 2008 on the FASM forum was launched an informal competition to create a new FASM logo. I decided to take part in it, because in the relatively short time (a few hours) I was able to create quite original project of the simple but yet visually interesting graphical mark.
Project's main idea was based on my observation that some of the symbols of the Indian writing system
Devanagari resemble in form Latin alphabet characters. Thanks to it, use of the font with such unusual and decorative typeface to write FASM assembler name was possible, so the whole process of the logo creation became easier and quicker.
